If the Stars don’t stop falling behind and/or blowing a lead, they’ll get what’s coming to them. What really killed them last night was the 3-0 deficit. They fought, oh yes they fought, but they couldn’t come back this time around.
All of this is killing me. I try to be optimistic and give this YOUNG team time to adjust, but i’m impatient; I want results NOW. It’s hard.
Worst of all, you can’t lay the blame on anyone in particular. Turco’s been pretty good by his standards, so it’s not fair to blame him. The only people you can’t really blame are Brad Richards, Jamie Benn and Tom Wandell. I can’t blame the latter two because they’re rookies who are learning the game. B-Rad’s been awesome, and one of the few who’s been consistent. The rest…ehh not so hot.
They need to win these easy games against Carolina and stuff. Those are free points that you need to make the playoffs. If they don’t pick it up, they’re digging their own grave.
And it won’t be a pretty sight…
